My father uses his cellphone as his alarm. I think I've mentioned that he sleeps on the couch in the family room, and he'll usually plug his phone in at night and keep it on the arm of said couch. My father uses the alarm on his cell phone to wake up in the morning. I'm not sure when he stopped using his regular ring for it, but at some point he switched over to this odd thing that says, "Rhythm. Rock. Rhythm. Rock."
